Volunteer: Volunteer at Berkeley (Jack Capon Villa): Gardening VolunteerJack Capon Villa is seeking volunteers to support monthly gardening maintenance alongside residents with disabilities who enjoy participating in their community fruit and vegetable garden. Volunteers will help residents tend to the garden by providing guidance, light physical assistance, and gardening knowledge so the garden can thrive and residents can enjoy the harvest. Sessions typically take place monthly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at 4:30 PM and last about one hour. Scheduling is flexible and coordinated with the site. Parking can be limited, but staff parking may be available depending on the day. Volunteer Coordinator and the site’s Service Coordinator To help residents maintain their community garden while sharing gardening and sustainability knowledge that supports independence, well‑being, and connection to nature.
