Volunteer: Volunteer at Oakland (Valdez Plaza): Tech TutorValdez Plaza is seeking a Tech Tutor to provide technology support to residents who have expressed interest in improving their digital skills. This volunteer will assist residents with troubleshooting and learning how to use cell phones, laptops, tablets, and common computer programs. Sessions may be held in the morning or afternoon on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays. The role may occur weekly or monthly, depending on volunteer availability and resident needs. Knowledge of Chinese is helpful but not mandatory. Volunteer Coordinator and the site’s Service Coordinator To help residents gain confidence and fluency in using technology to better manage daily tasks, access information, and stay connected with others.
