Do you love arts & craft and want to share your passion with others? Volunteer to lead a monthly arts & craft class for residents at Sunflower Hill in Pleasanton! This is a great opportunity to build community, share skills, and bring joy to residents who enjoy dance and socializing.
When: Monthly, Thursday, 4PM-5PM
What You'll Do: Lead a small group of residents in an arts and crafts. Provide guidance and support for beginners and experienced participants alike. Foster a warm and welcoming environment for social engagement. Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities would be a plus.
A Service Coordinator will be on-site to support the activity. No professional teaching experience is needed-just a love for arts & craft and patience to help others!
Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer once a month for a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms, and background screening prior to beginning their placement.
