Do you love dance and want to share your passion with others? Volunteer to lead a monthly dance/zumba class for residents at Casa Montego in Walnut Creek! This is a great opportunity to build community, share skills, and bring joy to residents who enjoy dance and socializing.
When: Monthly, 2nd Thursdays
What You'll Do: Lead a small group of residents in a dance class and modify movements as needed to accommodate the needs of the participants. Provide guidance and support for beginners and experienced participates alike Foster a warm and welcoming environment for social engagement
A Service Coordinator will be on-site to support the activity. No professional teaching experience is needed-just a love for dancing/zumba and patience to help others!
Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer once a month for a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement.
