Volunteer: Volunteer at Oakland (Glen Brook): Singing Group LeaderGlen Brook Terrace is seeking a volunteer Chorus Instructor to lead residents in singing original or covered material. This opportunity is being requested due to resident interest and as part of piloting a new community activity. The volunteer will help create a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents can sing together, build confidence, and connect through music. Sessions may take place weekly or bi-weekly on Tuesdays or Thursdays, with Thursdays preferred. Volunteers should arrive at 2:00 PM, and the estimated volunteer shift is 1.5 hours. Scheduling is negotiable and may be adjusted based on volunteer availability and resident needs. An electronic keyboard may be provided, or volunteers may bring their own instrument. Volunteer Coordinator and the site’s Service Coordinator To provide residents with a creative and social music activity that encourages self-expression, confidence, connection, and community-building through group singing.
