Position: Call BINGO
Schedule: Weekly; Mondays at 2pm. *flexible
Do you want to get involved with your community and help prevent social isolation through playing BINGO? Volunteer to call BINGO for low income seniors living at Beth Asher Apartments, in the Diamond District of Oakland! We are looking for a volunteer to call BINGO for an hour on Mondays or Wednesdays. The volunteer will facilitate BINGO games, socialize with residents and then straighten up afterward. BINGO is a very popular activity that is also a great opportunity to build community and keep our residents active!
A Cantonese speaking volunteer is preferred, but not required.
Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer once a week for a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement.
